Updated: Sep 10, 2019

The first phase consisting of 48 units

The first phase consisting of 48 units of the La Récolte Retirement Village in Stellenberg in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is sold out.

Spacious studio and one and two bedroom apartments in La Récolte are on the market from R1.45 million to R2.525 million, with buyers choosing their own finishes from granite tops to bathroom finishes and flooring.

Jessica Kolver of Engel & Völkers, sole agents for the development, says the exclusive development offers a lock-up and go lifestyle, state-of-the-art security and facilities, as well as luxury finishes.

“We’re excited to announce that Block A, which offers 48 units, is sold out and nearing completion, with owners starting to move in. Block B, which will offer 42 units, is already 50% sold out, and construction will commence shortly with expected completion by September 2018,” says Kolver.

According to Kolver, sales have been excellent due to the development’s location.

“Situated close to Tyger Valley Shopping Centre, Willowbridge, the Durbanville Winelands, hospitals and clinics, the development also offers easy access to the N1 highway,” she says.

“On top of that, each apartment boasts medical and security panic buttons, 24-hour security with CCTV cameras, electrical fencing and access-controlled gates, DStv connectivity, fibre internet, optional homecare nursing, landscaped gardens, laundry facilities and affordable, stable levies. Another add-on is that each unit has a telephone, enabling residents to contact each other and the relevant services on site, free of charge.”

“La Récolte offers a quality lifestyle and is the perfect retirement option for anybody over the age of 50,” says Kolver.

Spacious studio and one and two bedroom apartments, including basement parking, are on the market from R1.45 million to R2.525 million, with buyers choosing their own finishes from granite tops to bathroom finishes and flooring.

“La Récolte offers a quality lifestyle and is the perfect retirement option for anybody over the age of 50. Our garden, house cleaning, food and nursing services offer peace of mind. You can still have an active lifestyle with every comfort and convenience you can think of, whilst being close to city amenities,” says Kolver.

The development will also include Block C, which will offer 36 units on completion, Block D for assisted living and frail care, as well as a clubhouse with a dining hall and reading lounge.
