I'm sure a lot of residents have wondered why construction on the Clubhouse has not started and when it will? The reason for the delayed start is that the Clubhouse increased in size from 505m2 to over 800m2 in order to accommodate the required services and amenities. When the plans was submitted it triggered a Site Development Plan (SDP) update, which was approved 2 weeks ago. The building plans are now once again circulating with the council and we expect to start with construction as soon as Steyter Constructions returns in January. Construction should still be finished in August.
As many of you might have noticed construction on the Care Centre has started with the ground floor walls already window height in certain areas. Construction is on schedule and the Care Centre should open it's doors in January 2021
